Competition Company Reveals Rennsport Content Roadmap Through 2026
Competition Company recently unveiled their content roadmap for Rennsport up to 2026, signaling their commitment to expanding the racing game after a lackluster launch in the previous year.
One of the headline announcements is a significant price reduction for the Deluxe Edition. The price will be slashed by 45%, dropping from €69.99 to €38.49. Additionally, the Deluxe Edition will now include access to the September DLC, along with the previously announced Endurance Classics Part 1 and Touring Classic Part 1. Existing Deluxe Edition owners will receive extra in-game items, while the standard edition pricing remains unchanged.
The first major update to the game content is scheduled for March, featuring the release of the Endurance Classics and a content patch. Subsequent updates will follow at close to a monthly pace until September.
The March update will introduce:
- Hyundai N Vision 74
- Kuala Lumpur Street Circuit
- Road Atlanta (short)
- Fuji Speedway (shortcut)
- Updated Championship
- New Single Player Championship
- Increased Immersion
The Endurance Classics Part 1 will include:
- Porsche 911 GT1 ’98
- Mercedes-Benz CLK LM
- Porsche 956
- Peugeot 9X8 Evo
- Circuit des 24 Heures du Mans
The April update will bring:
- Porsche 718 Cayman GT4
- Laguna Seca
- Sebring International Raceway
- Reworked Online
- Multiplayer Championships
- New Single Player Championships
- Custom Online Contests
May will see the introduction of the reworked AI and additional single player championships. This update will coincide with the release of Touring Car Classics Part 1:
- Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI
- Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5-16 Evo II
- BMW E30 M3
- Mercedes-Benz C-Class V6
- Hockenheimring Classic
In June, expect one new car, two new tracks or layouts, and more single player championships in the update. The newly announced September DLC will include a new car and track, alongside a free track and single player championships update.
Competition Company plans to gradually release modding tools for track creation over the summer. The rollout will begin with a select group of creators, followed by closed beta testing, with a full release anticipated by the end of 2026.
This roadmap showcases promising developments for the game. However, the delayed AI improvements set for May may affect the overall player experience, particularly in single player content from the March and April updates. It is crucial for the development to progress smoothly in this area to enhance gameplay.
