AI Planet, a Leuven-based DeepTech company specializing in enterprise Generative AI and Agentic AI platforms, has recently announced a strategic joint venture with InfoDrive Analytics, accompanied by a €2.5 million investment. This collaboration aims to establish a powerful AI and digital transformation hub in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Chanukya Patnaik, the Founder & CEO of AI Planet, emphasized the significance of the Middle East’s digital and AI evolution, highlighting the region’s proactive approach to innovation. The joint venture intends to enable enterprises and governments in utilizing AI to revolutionize sectors like manufacturing, healthcare, and financial services, fostering progress across the region.

In Belgium, several startups have secured funding to advance AI-driven technologies. For example, Bizzy received €4 million to expand its AI sales agent platform across Europe, while Eagl raised €825,000 to automate finance operations through AI agents. Additionally, Dalton obtained €1 million in pre-Seed funding to enhance its AI-powered optimization engine for websites.

Funding across Europe continues to support both application-layer and infrastructure-layer innovation. Italy’s Lexroom raised €16.2 million to expand its Generative AI legal platform globally, while Berlin-based Peec AI attracted €7 million for its “Generative Engine Optimization” product. At the infrastructure level, DataCrunch in Finland secured €55 million to scale GPU and cloud resources across Europe.

The €2.5 million UAE expansion by AI Planet aligns with Belgium’s focus on enterprise and agentic AI, showcasing European startups’ efforts to combine domestic R&D strength with international growth initiatives. This investment underscores the growing trend of European AI startups seeking expansion opportunities in high-demand regions like the Middle East.

This initiative, supported by Luxembourg’s sovereign cloud and a government innovation grant, marked a significant achievement in linguistic AI innovation.

The joint venture represents AI Planet’s official entry into the UAE market, reinforcing its commitment to building global AI ecosystems for large-scale digital transformation. The partnership will establish AI Planet’s regional base in Dubai, focusing on aiding governments and large enterprises in their AI and digital transformation journeys.

The investment will support market development efforts, customer acquisition strategies, operational setup, and talent acquisition in the region. Additionally, the focus will be on developing industry-specific Agentic AI solutions utilizing AI Planet’s proprietary platform.

By combining AI Planet’s expertise in enterprise-grade AI orchestration with InfoDrive Analytics’ regional reach and business acumen, the partnership sets the stage for impactful contributions to enterprise and government ecosystems.
