As businesses navigate the ever-evolving landscape of online discovery, one India-founded startup is making waves by helping companies leverage AI-powered platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity to reach new customers. Gushwork, a two-year-old startup, has secured $9 million in seed funding from investors like Susquehanna International Group (SIG) and Lightspeed, propelling its post-money valuation to $33 million.

This latest round of funding brings Gushwork’s total investment to $11 million as it positions itself at the forefront of AI-driven search marketing. With giants like Google embracing AI-generated content, Gushwork aims to assist businesses in standing out in the digital realm through its automated marketing agents.

Co-founded in 2023 by Nayrhit Bhattacharya and Adithya Venkatesh, Gushwork initially focused on streamlining workflows for small and medium enterprises before pivoting towards enhancing online visibility through search-led marketing. The platform utilizes AI agents to create search-optimized content, establish backlinks, and monitor inbound leads, enabling businesses to thrive in both traditional search results and AI-generated responses.

With over 300 paying customers, predominantly in the U.S., Gushwork boasts a growing annualized recurring revenue of $1.5 million and anticipates reaching $3 to $3.5 million in the coming months. The startup’s success is fueled by a surge in AI-driven search and chat platform traffic, which accounts for 40% of inbound leads.
