Apple Teases Imminent Launch of New MacBook with M5 Chip

Apple has hinted at the upcoming release of a new MacBook featuring the powerful M5 chip. Greg Joswiak, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, recently teased the launch with a cryptic message stating “something powerful is coming.” The accompanying video in the post shows the words “coming soon” alongside a silhouette of an Apple laptop, hinting at what’s to come. Joswiak’s post cleverly includes the word “Mmmmm,” with five Ms, a clever nod to the upcoming M5 chip, as the laptop silhouette is shaped like the Roman numeral V.

Anticipated MacBook Pro with M5 Chip Set to Be Announced

Recent reports from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman suggest that Apple is gearing up to unveil a new base-model MacBook Pro equipped with the M5 chip this week. The imminent launch of products featuring the M5 chip from Apple comes as no surprise, given that iPad Pros with the same chip have already made appearances on YouTube unboxing videos. Gurman also hints at the announcement of new tablets with the M5 chip this week, although Joswiak has yet to confirm this. Additionally, Gurman mentions a Vision Pro with a “faster chip” set to be revealed this week, potentially referring to the new headset recently discovered in an FCC filing.
