Apple releases iOS 26.2 beta 3 for iPhone

iOS 26.2 Beta 3: What to Expect from Apple’s Latest Update

Apple has rolled out the third beta version of iOS 26.2 for iPhone, now available to developers as an over-the-air update. This latest update brings a host of new features and enhancements to Apple’s mobile operating system.

One of the notable changes in iOS 26.2 is the revamp of the Sleep Score system. The highest rating has been rebranded from “Excellent” to “Very High,” with adjustments made to all scoring categories to address feedback that the previous system was too lenient.

In addition, iOS 26.2 introduces enhancements to Apple Podcasts powered by AI technology. Users can now enjoy automatically generated chapters, links to referenced podcasts, and better organization of related content within the app.

Furthermore, Apple News receives a refined layout update, offering quick access to popular sections as part of Apple’s ongoing design improvements.

Other enhancements in iOS 26.2 include the expansion of AirPods Live Translation to European Union countries, the introduction of a Liquid Glass Lock Screen slider for enhanced clock transparency control, and the ability for the Reminders app to set alarms and timers for urgent tasks, ensuring notifications are visible even in Focus modes.

CarPlay now allows users to disable pinned conversations in Messages, and the Measure app features a new Liquid Glass-inspired design for its level tool.

Expect the official release of iOS 26.2 in December, with updates on changes in beta 3. Stay tuned for more information on Apple’s latest mobile operating system.
