Apple Unveils iPhone Pocket: A Knitted Bag for Your Device

Apple has once again surprised its customers with a unique accessory for the iPhone – the iPhone Pocket. This knitted bag, designed in collaboration with Japanese designer Issey Miyake, aims to provide a stylish and practical way to carry your device.

Priced at $229.95 for the crossbody version and $149.95 for the shorter option, the iPhone Pocket offers a fashionable alternative to traditional phone cases. Available in a range of colors, including blue, brown, black, orange, yellow, purple, pink, and turquoise, this accessory allows users to carry their iPhone in a unique and personalized way.

According to Apple, the 3D-knitted design of the iPhone Pocket was inspired by the concept of creating an additional pocket for the device. This innovative accessory is not only stylish but also functional, allowing users to carry their iPhone and small everyday items with ease.

Yoshiyuki Miyamae, design director at Miyake Design Studio, explains that the iPhone Pocket symbolizes the bond between the iPhone and its user. The accessory is designed to be universal in aesthetic and versatile in use, allowing users to express their personal style while carrying their device.

In comparison to past Apple accessories like the iPod Socks, which were famously mocked by Steve Jobs, the iPhone Pocket offers a more sophisticated and practical solution for iPhone users. The accessory will be available for purchase online starting November 14th, as well as in select Apple Store locations around the world.
