Arc Raiders devs reveal plans for "new large Arc", a fresh map, and two more Expeditions this spring

Embark Reveals Exciting Plans for ARC Raiders Updates in 2026

Attention, defenders of Speranza! Embark has recently unveiled their roadmap for ARC Raiders updates in the first four months of 2026. The upcoming season, titled Escalation, promises a plethora of new content ranging from maps and enemies to Raider decks and Expeditions. One particular highlight is the introduction of a “new large Arc” set to debut in April, sparking curiosity about the potential scale of these Arcs.

Let’s delve into the details of this roadmap, starting with the current month’s update, Headwinds. This package includes a new matchmaking option for players above level 40, a minor map condition, and a player project. February will see the arrival of Shrouded Sky, featuring a new map condition, Arc threat, player project, raider deck, map update, and Expedition.

March brings the Flashpoint update, which introduces a new map condition, Arc enemy, player project, and an update for Scrappy the unique junk-attracting chicken. Finally, April is marked by Riven Tides, introducing another new map and map condition, a second Expedition, and the highly anticipated “new large Arc.” Embark aims to enhance the variety of Expeditions in the future, promising an engaging gameplay experience.

For fans of frostbite, the cold weather simulations in ARC Raiders will persist. Despite the passing of the Cold Snap, extreme weather conditions will continue to challenge Raiders as they scavenge for essential resources to sustain Speranza. The developers hint at the possibility of a new enemy from the Stella Montis region making its way to other maps, adding an extra layer of suspense to the gameplay.
