Embark has recently rolled out an update for ARC Raiders, marking a significant milestone with a total of 12 million players since its launch. As a thank you to all players who logged in from launch up to January 13th, a gilded pickaxe raider tool will be gifted. Update 1.11.0 focuses on addressing a key card exploit and balancing adjustments to certain weapons, along with the introduction of the Abyss cosmetic set.

Overview of ARC Raiders Update 1.11.0

  • Kettle – Developer’s note: The fire rate has been reduced from 600 to 450 to prevent unfair advantages gained through the use of macros.
  • Trigger ‘Nade – Developer’s note: This grenade has been adjusted to reduce its dominance in PVP encounters. Changes include a modified damage falloff pattern and an increased delay before detonation.
  • A fix has been implemented for a key card exploit that allowed players to retain room keys after using them.
  • Lighting adjustments have been made in certain areas of Stella Montis Night Raid to enhance gameplay.

Reflecting on ARC Raiders, Tuffcub likened it to Destiny at its initial launch, praising the core gameplay and sense of community. However, areas for improvement include inventory management on consoles and the need for more in-game events to diversify each playthrough.
