Console Fallout 4 Players: Time to Take Action for Mods with November Patch Details
Fallout 4 November Patch Details: New Varmint Rifle and Load Order Reset
Bethesda recently unveiled the specifics of the Fallout 4 November patch, introducing a new Varmint Rifle and addressing various crash-related issues. However, the anticipated mod storage expansion for consoles has been postponed until December. Console players should be prepared for a mod load order reset when this update rolls out.
For console players using mods in Fallout 4, here are the necessary steps to safeguard your load order:
- Go to the Creations Menu and access the Load Order Menu from the bottom of the screen.
- In the Load Order Menu screen, choose “Load Order Archive.”
- Opt for “Save Load Order to Bethesda.net.”
- Confirm by selecting “Yes.”
- You will receive a confirmation message indicating your current load order has been saved to Bethesda.net.
- Exit the menu and let the game reload your data files. The game will notify you that your load order has been altered, signifying the completion of the process!
Moreover, here are the patch notes for the Fallout 4 November update:
Crash and Stability Fixes
- Resolved crash issues when starting a new game with Creations installed on PS4.
- Fixed crashes upon exiting an interior with Pip-Boy open on PS4/PS5.

Save/Load & Profile

- Fixed infinite loading while downloading missing Creation Club content from a save on a different platform.
- Switching Xbox user profiles no longer results in softlocks or loss of controls.

UI & User Experience
- Performance enhancements in the Creations menu across all platforms.
- Fixed softlocks when repeatedly entering/exiting the Creations menu.
- Resolved infinite loading/hang during the loading of creations-dependent save files.
- Bundle prices now immediately update after purchasing individual items in a bundle.
- Bundles now display accurate file sizes for included creations.
- Improved localization.
- In-game Creations menu now follows the player-set load order rather than alphabetical order.
- Players can now like/unlike creations in the Load Order menu as intended.

- Downloaded Creations will remain visible in your Load Order even after deletion from BethesdaNet.
