Amazon AI VP departs for CoreWeave; F5 names new tech exec

Heather Parsons is the new head of Fred Hutch’s Breast Oncology Program. Parsons, an associate professor in the Clinical Research Division, will continue treating patients and researching new ways to test for cancer in blood.

  • Dr. Shailender Bhatia is the inaugural recipient of the Lyn and Daniel Lerner Endowed Chair in Merkel Cell Carcinoma. Bhatia is interested in immunotherapy to reduce disease recurrence and discover treatments.
  • Dr. Robert Bradley is the new head of Fred Hutch’s Clinical Research Division. Bradley, an associate professor, will focus on developing new treatments and techniques for cancer patients.
