Developers Face Hurdles with Apple Verification Server: Local App Installation Disrupted
Apple Developers Facing Issues with Test Build Installation
Recent reports indicate that Apple developers are currently experiencing difficulties with installing test builds on their devices. Despite no official listing on Apple’s system status page, numerous complaints have surfaced over the past few hours regarding this issue.
This problem is not limited to individual developers, as it is also affecting enterprise app installations.
The primary cause of this issue seems to stem from a verification server on Apple’s end, although developers are being presented with a connectivity problem on their side rather than Apple’s.
Developers encountering this issue are met with an error message stating:
Unable to Verify App
An Internet connection is required to verify trust of the developer [name]. This app will not be available until verified.
Concerns regarding this issue have been raised on a Reddit post, with developers currently unable to test code changes on their devices until a resolution is reached.
Additionally, there has been a rise in the number of developers reporting longer-than-usual app review times, as noted by 9to5Mac.
