Donkervoort P24 RS revealed; The most Dutch supercar ever

The Donkervoort P24 RS: A Lightweight and Dutch Super Car

Donkervoort recently introduced the P24 RS, which is being hailed as “the most Dutch supercar ever created.” This driver-focused supercar is a limited edition with only 150 units planned, and more than 50 have already been sold in Europe, the US, and the Middle East.

The heart of the Donkervoort P24 RS is its all-new 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, delivering an impressive 600 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. What sets this supercar apart is its incredibly low weight of just 780 kg (dry), making it the only road-going 600 hp supercar that weighs less than 1000 kg.

While the company aimed for a 1:1 power-to-weight ratio, the P24 RS comes very close with a power-to-weight ratio of 770 hp per tonne.

Performance-wise, the Donkervoort P24 RS can accelerate from 0-124 mph in just 7.4 seconds and has a top speed exceeding 186 mph.

Visually, the P24 RS retains the classic Donkervoort design elements such as a long nose, short tail, and exposed front wheels. It also offers an optional aero kit for track enthusiasts, featuring swing-out headlights, a front splitter, a rear diffuser, and aero winglets over the taillights.

The suspension setup of the P24 RS includes double wishbones at the front and a multi-link configuration at the rear. Customers have the option to equip the car with adjustable dampers and a hydraulic ride-height system. Braking duties are handled by AP Racing components, with carbon ceramics also available.
