Enhanced Battery Management and Efficiency: macOS 26.4 Introduces Charge Limit Feature and Shortcuts

To enable Charge Limit on your Mac, simply open Settings, go to the Battery section, and click the “info” symbol next to “Charging.”

In addition to Mac devices, the new iOS 26.4 and macOS 26.4 betas also bring Charge Limit to the Shortcuts app. This allows users to automate setting their Charge Limit, providing even more control over battery health.
