Enhanced Fire TV Stick Experience: Revamped Layout, Exciting Features, and Mobile App Integration

Amazon announced the launch of the new Amazon Ember Artline lifestyle TV and the highly anticipated redesign of the Fire TV app to coincide with CES 2026.

The first update in half a decade aims to refresh the interface and enhance user experience. The free update will be available in the US in February and will cover the Fire TV Stick 4K Plus, Fire TV Stick 4K Max (2nd Gen), and Fire TV Omni Mini-LED Series. The rest of the world will have to wait until spring 2026 for the new Fire TV version to be available in other countries and on a wider range of devices, as per Amazon.

The revamped Fire TV interface will sport rounded corners, an improved layout, redesigned typography, and color gradients to enhance its visual appeal and ease of navigation. Additionally, a rebuild of the underlying code is expected to boost app performance, making program searches faster. Amazon states that the new Fire TV will be “cleaner, faster, and better organized, helping users spend less time searching and more time watching.”

Amazon is also expanding the home screen customization options. While users were previously limited to pinning six apps, the update will now allow for up to 20. Furthermore, the Menu button on the remote will offer instant access to games or personal photos in Amazon Photos, and the Home button will provide quick links to sound and display settings or smart home device management.

Amazon’s highlight is the integration of Fire TV Stick with Alexa+. The advanced voice assistant will assist users in selecting content based on preferences and mood, adding titles to watchlists, finding favorite scenes, browsing photos and art, and exploring game statistics.

Not neglecting the mobile experience, the Fire TV app for mobile devices will also receive an upgrade to align with the main Fire TV version. New features such as browsing, watchlist management, and playing titles on the television will be introduced.
