Exciting News: BMW Announces Release Date for Three New Colors for the iX3
Exciting News for BMW iX3 Enthusiasts
If you’ve been holding off on purchasing the new BMW iX3 due to its limited color options, you’ll be pleased to hear that more choices are on the horizon. While we’ve previously discussed the available body paints at launch, additional finishes are set to be introduced in the near future. According to the vehicle’s product manager, three new colors will soon be added to the lineup.
During the iX3’s international media debut in Spain, Mark Berger revealed that Fire Red/Vegas Red will be an option for vehicles manufactured from March 2026. Additionally, Space Silver will soon offer a Frozen variant with a matte finish, starting in the same month. Perhaps most intriguing is the introduction of Eucalyptus Green, which will be applied at the Debrecen body shop beginning in March.
Berger also mentioned that BMW is currently in the process of certifying its new Hungarian factory for Individual finishes. The first of these custom colors is expected to be available by the middle of next year, although the specific shades have yet to be disclosed.
For those looking to further personalize their iX3, M Performance Parts will soon be available. While these enhancements, including high-gloss black accents, body decals, and a roof spoiler, won’t be launched until July 2026, they will provide additional customization options. Additionally, an M Performance variant, likely named the iX3 M60, is slated to enter production in July, with a full-fledged M model expected to follow in late 2027.
For a comprehensive overview of the iX3’s current features and future additions, BMW has released a detailed video. For instance, a white steering wheel will be an option starting in March 2026, but only when paired with the Digital White interior theme.
Accessory options for the iX3 have also been outlined, including a roof rack for carrying aero-designed cargo boxes, ski and snowboard holders, roof-mounted bike carriers, and a rear bike carrier capable of accommodating up to three bikes. Additionally, a rear cargo box will be offered for added storage.
Those seeking a more stylish and luxurious alternative may consider the upcoming iX4, which is expected to debut soon. Furthermore, the highly anticipated Neue Klasse model, the i3 sedan, is set to arrive in 2026.
