The Honor 500 Pro is expected to feature a 6.55-inch 2736 x 1264 (1.5K) 120Hz flat display with 3840Hz PWM dimming and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The device will boast an all-metal frame and IP68, IP69, and IP69K dust and water resistance certifications. Stereo speakers will flank the display, and the design is reminiscent of the Google Pixel 10.
Powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and an 8000mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging capabilities, the Honor 500 Pro will also sport a 200MP main sensor, 12MP ultra-wide lens, and 50MP telephoto lens. A 50MP selfie camera is also expected.
Insights on Honor 500
The standard Honor 500 is likely to share the same display and battery specifications as the Pro model. However, it will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC and may lack the dedicated telephoto camera and wireless charging support. Despite these differences, the Honor 500 is poised to be a strong contender in the mid-range segment.
Previous models like the Honor 400 have received praise for their premium design, impressive cameras, long-lasting battery, AI features, and software support. The Honor 500 is anticipated to continue this legacy and offer a compelling option for consumers.
While the Honor 400 Pro may not have been as impressive as its predecessor, it still had valuable features to offer to users.
