Exciting Updates on the Porsche 911 GT3 RS Facelift

The highly anticipated facelift of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS is currently in the works, with the 992.2 GT3 RS undergoing development. Spy shots of the prototype were first captured in August last year, and now, the latest sightings show the vehicle being tested in snowy conditions in Scandinavia.

One of the standout features of the upcoming 911 GT3 RS facelift is the redesigned rear end. It will come equipped with a new diffuser that boasts dual exhausts and additional tailpipes on both sides. Moreover, there is a new air outlet positioned above the rear number plate. The active rear spoiler has also undergone a transformation, now sporting three elements instead of two and featuring a DRS function.

On the front end, there are noticeable changes as well. The air intakes have been slightly enlarged, and the bonnet ducts have been reworked. Additionally, the new GT3 RS will feature redesigned headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights for a more modern look.

Speculations are rife about the powertrain of the new 911 GT3 RS. It is rumored to be equipped with a 3.6-liter flat-6 engine that will be mated to a single turbocharger, promising an exhilarating driving experience.
