Exclusive: OnePlus 15T Qi2 Officially Confirmed with Expanded Accessory Lineup

OnePlus has unveiled a variety of accessories that seem to confirm speculations about a significant feature of the OnePlus 15T.

Yesterday, OnePlus announced that it would introduce its next smartphone on March 24. Today, the company showcased a range of magnetic accessories that appear to validate the OnePlus 15T’s Qi2 compatibility.

A Weibo post discussing the OnePlus 15T described it as “Small, powerful, stylish, and fun!?” via machine translation.

The intriguing part is the image accompanying the post, showing the OnePlus 15T with four accessories – five if the mesh-like case on the phone is included.

The four accessories include various chargers, stands, and cooling fans that attach to the phone’s back using magnets. This setup resembles Tecno’s recent modular concept device showcased at MWC 2026.

Why it’s important

Rumors prior to this post indicated that the OnePlus 15T would support Qi2, and the apparent confirmation of this is significant.

Following the release of the Google Pixel 10 series with Pixelsnap accessories last year, the expected surge of Android phones with magnetic wireless charging has not materialized. Notably, despite initial speculations, the Samsung Galaxy S26 launch did not feature a MagSafe-style attachment system.

Prior to this, the OnePlus 15T’s predecessor, the OnePlus 15, lacked Qi2, giving this presumably more affordable successor an advantage in this aspect.

Additionally, it has been confirmed that the OnePlus 15T, despite its compact size, will boast a larger 7500mAh battery compared to its predecessor.

Anticipated features include a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, a 6.32-inch 165Hz AMOLED display, 100W wired charging, and 50W wireless charging.

It is unfortunate that the OnePlus 15T, potentially one of the standout phones of 2026, may only be available in China and possibly India.
