Mercedes-Benz S-Class Facelift Teaser Reveals Redesigned Front

Mercedes-Benz’s flagship sedan, the S-Class, is set to undergo a midlife refresh this year. While the carmaker had previously shared images of the prototype camouflaged, an official teaser may soon be unveiled.

Recently leaked, an image believed to be one of the initial teasers of the S-Class facelift showcases its front silhouette, emphasizing the updated grille and new headlamp units.

The upcoming S-Class model is expected to boast a hexagonal grille featuring four horizontal slats and a central spine, illuminated for added visual appeal. The headlights will showcase star-shaped DRLs with an eyebrow design.

Furthermore, the S-Class facelift will introduce an enhanced lineup of engines. The S450 variant will be equipped with an inline 6-cylinder engine generating 443 lb-ft of torque, reaching up to 472 lb-ft with the overboost function. The S500 is rumored to deliver 442 hp, while the S580 will sport a flat-plane V8 engine producing 530 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque. Additionally, a plug-in hybrid version will be available.
