Exclusive Sneak Peek: Motorola’s Highly-Anticipated Flagship Phone Revealed Before Release
Recent leaks have unveiled images of Motorola’s upcoming flagship phone, hinting at a possible rebranding away from the ‘Edge’ series to a new ‘Motorola Signature’ brand.
Renowned leaker Evan Blass, also known as @evleaks, recently suggested that Motorola’s next flagship phone, set to release after May 2024, will not be the rumored Motorola Edge 70 Ultra but will instead introduce the new Motorola Signature lineup.
Previously, blurry images of the smartphone, then known as the Edge 70 Ultra, were circulating in December. However, clearer shots of the Motorola Signature device have now surfaced, showcasing the new design.
Despite the rebranding and the tagline ‘Crafted for the visionaries,’ the new device retains the essence of a Motorola flagship phone, combining elements from previous models like the curved display of the Edge 50 Ultra and the sleek rear panel of the Edge 70.
Speculations suggest that the Motorola Signature may feature a slimmer profile compared to its predecessors, possibly following the trend set by the ultra-thin Edge 70 measuring just 5.99mm.
The leaked images in Olive and Carbon colors highlight the premium material finish of the phone, showcasing Motorola’s signature tactile design aesthetic.
Motorola Signature Specifications
Rumored specifications for the Motorola Signature include the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset paired with a generous 16GB of RAM, promising flagship-level performance at competitive pricing.
Additionally, the device is expected to sport a high-resolution 1.5K OLED display and a sophisticated camera setup featuring a Sony LYTIA periscope telephoto lens with a focal range of 12–71mm.
While the marketing claim of the phone being “crafted for the visionaries” may seem ambitious, Motorola fans can anticipate another elegant flagship offering from the Lenovo-owned brand.
