Renowned leaker Evan Blass recently disclosed that Motorola’s next flagship, expected to be unveiled after May 2024, will not be the rumored Edge 70 Ultra but will instead mark the debut of the Motorola Signature series.

Earlier glimpses of the device, initially believed to be the Edge 70 Ultra, were somewhat blurry, but clearer images of the Signature model have now been unveiled by Blass.

Despite the rebranding and the enigmatic tagline ‘Crafted for the visionaries,’ the new device bears a strong resemblance to Motorola’s flagship lineup.

Drawing inspiration from the curved display of the Edge 50 Ultra and the sleek rear panel of the Edge 70, the Signature model embodies a blend of these design elements.

While exact dimensions are yet to be confirmed, speculations suggest a slimmer profile compared to its predecessors, like the ultra-thin 5.99mm Edge 70.

The detailed images showcasing the Olive and Carbon variants highlight the premium material finish that Motorola is known for, promising a tactile and visually appealing design.

Motorola Signature Specifications

Rumored specifications for the Motorola Signature include the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset paired with a generous 16GB of RAM, indicating flagship-level performance at a potentially competitive price point.

The device is expected to feature a high-resolution 1.5K OLED display and may sport a sophisticated camera setup with a Sony LYTIA periscope telephoto lens offering a focal range of 12–71mm.

While the marketing claim of the Signature being “crafted for the visionaries” may be debatable, consumers can anticipate another aesthetically pleasing flagship offering from Motorola under the Lenovo umbrella.
