Porsche 911 GT3 Cabriolet could be unveiled on December 12

The Highly Anticipated Porsche 911 GT3 Cabriolet

The Porsche 911 GT3 Cabriolet has generated significant buzz since July of this year. While details have been scarce, occasional sightings of prototype testing have kept enthusiasts on their toes.

Rumors are now swirling that the convertible iteration of the 911 GT3 may make its debut on December 12, 2025. Some sources even speculate that it could bear the moniker ‘911 GT3 Sport Cabrio’.

The GT3 Cabriolet is expected to showcase a folding soft-top along with a bespoke aerodynamic package. This package may include vents positioned behind the front wheel arches reminiscent of the GT3 RS, as well as a sporty rear bumper housing dual centrally mounted exhausts. In a departure from a fixed rear wing, the convertible variant may opt for a retractable spoiler akin to the standard 911 Carrera.

The 911 GT3 Sport Cabrio is likely to be powered by the same 4.0-liter, flat-6 engine found in the current model. With an output of 502 hp, this engine will channel power to the rear wheels through a choice of either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed PDK transmission.
