iOS 26 Beta 7: What’s New?

The latest iOS 26 beta 7 has been released for iPhones on the developer beta cycle. Here, we’ll highlight the key changes in iOS 26 beta 7 compared to the previous version.

iOS 26 Beta 7 Changes

One notable addition is the new option in Power Mode settings for Adaptive Power Notifications. This feature alerts users when performance might decrease to conserve battery life. The toggle for Adaptive Power Notifications is distinct from Adaptive Power, providing users with greater control over their device’s power management.

Furthermore, iOS 26 beta 7 and watchOS 26 beta 7 now support Apple’s “redesigned” blood oxygen measurement feature in the US. This feature, which received approval despite ongoing patent disputes with Masimo, is expected to be available in the next public beta. Notably, the blood oxygen measurement feature had been disabled for Apple Watch Series 9, Series 10, and Ultra 2 users in the US for the past few years.

Another update includes the addition of a Drafts option in the filter view within Messages.

In macOS Tahoe, the MacBook notch has returned in the onboarding video introduced in beta 6, albeit without the actual notch.
