11 Bit Studios Announces Frostpunk 2 DLC “Fractured Utopias” Release Date

11 Bit Studios has recently unveiled a new downloadable content (DLC) for Frostpunk 2, named Fractured Utopias. The release date for this highly anticipated DLC has been set for December 8th, and it will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series XS.

Fractured Utopias in Frostpunk 2 introduces players to eight new faction utopias, each with their own unique vision of a perfect society. As these factions clash over their differing ideologies, players will have the opportunity to explore 12 distinct unlocks per faction, including laws, HUBs, and abilities. Additionally, the DLC offers eight housing district variants and a plethora of new content, such as 100 narrative events, a new map, and two premium tales titled Doomsayers and Plague.

Our Frostpunk 2 console review highlighted the game’s immersive gameplay experience, stating, “Frostpunk 2 remains one of the most compelling city builders and survival games in recent memory, and it’s survived the transition to console in remarkably strong form. That said, if you have the option of playing on PC, that remains the best place to play.”
