In a recent report, it was mentioned that Apple is exploring the idea of a more compact follow-up to the iPhone Fold, potentially taking on a clamshell design similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 7.

While the new product is not a certainty yet, there are also talks of Apple looking into a larger foldable device, facing challenges with an 18-inch expanding tablet due to its weight.

The success of both devices is closely tied to the performance of the initial iPhone foldable, which is said to resemble the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

If the initial foldable does well, Apple anticipates a demand for various foldable shapes and sizes.
