Google Introduces Gemini Notebooks Feature to Enhance Organization and Productivity

In a recent announcement, Google unveiled its latest feature for Gemini, called “notebooks,” aimed at enhancing user organization and productivity. This innovative tool allows users to compile various information about specific topics in one centralized location, leveraging AI chatbot capabilities within the platform.

Similar to ChatGPT’s Projects feature introduced in 2024, notebooks enable users to gather files, past conversations, and personalized instructions for Gemini to utilize as context during interactions. This seamless integration of data aims to streamline communication and enhance user experience within the platform.

Google describes notebooks as personalized knowledge bases accessible across its suite of products, with an initial rollout in Gemini. Furthermore, Gemini’s Notebooks seamlessly sync with Google’s NotebookLM AI research tool, ensuring seamless data transfer between applications for enhanced productivity.

The introduction of Gemini’s notebooks is set to take place this week on the web, exclusively available to subscribers of Google’s AI Ultra, Pro, and Plus plans. Mobile access and availability for free users are expected in the upcoming weeks, expanding the reach and accessibility of this new feature.
