Fitbit’s AI Health Coach Public Preview Now Available to iOS Users in the U.S. and UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore

In an exciting announcement on Tuesday, Google revealed that the public preview of Fitbit’s AI personal health coach is now rolling out to iOS users in the U.S. Additionally, users in the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore can also access this feature on both iOS and Android devices.

Fitbit Introduces Conversational AI Interface for Personalized Health Coaching

The latest update from Fitbit brings a major overhaul to its app, featuring a conversational interface powered by Gemini AI. This innovative technology interprets users’ latest health data, tailoring custom routines and workouts based on individual health goals, workout equipment, and training preferences. Initially launched in October, the AI health coach was previously exclusive to the U.S. and limited to Android devices.

Accessing the AI Health Coach Feature

To experience the AI health coach, users must have an active Fitbit Premium subscription and log in to the Fitbit app using a Google account. Additionally, users need to own one of the 14 supported devices, which include Fitbit wearables and the Pixel Watch. Fitbit has announced that the rollout of the AI health coach will occur gradually over the next few days, so not all eligible users may have immediate access to this feature.
