The Latest Apple Watch SE On Sale
Apple pleasantly surprised consumers when they released the latest Apple Watch SE. This model outshines Apple’s more expensive options while enhancing the basics. Now, with a sale in place, recommending it has become even easier. The LTE-enabled version is currently available at its all-time low price of $249 (a $50 discount) on Amazon. The 40mm GPS version is also on sale for $219 (a $30 discount) at Amazon, Target, and Walmart. Additionally, the larger 44mm GPS model is discounted to $249 (a $30 discount) at Amazon and Target, with the option to add LTE for an additional $50.
Features of the Apple Watch SE 3
The Apple Watch SE 3 introduces several features previously exclusive to Apple’s higher-end models. Notably, it now boasts an always-on display, allowing users to easily check the time or notifications without having to interact with the screen. Powered by Apple’s S10 chip, this model offers on-device Siri and gesture controls such as double tap and wrist flick, simplifying tasks like answering calls and managing notifications. The device also features faster charging, 5G connectivity for enhanced coverage, and the ability to play music directly from the watch. On the health front, the SE 3 supports ovulation tracking, monitors breathing during sleep, and sends alerts if signs of sleep apnea are detected.
Limitations of the Apple Watch SE 3
As an entry-level model, the Apple Watch SE 3 omits certain features to maintain affordability. Users won’t find capabilities like EKG readings, blood oxygen level monitoring, or hypertension alerts, which are available on the Series 11 and Ultra 3 models. Additionally, the higher-end options offer larger displays and include Apple’s Ultra Wideband chip for features like Precision Finding, designed to help locate a misplaced iPhone. Despite these exclusions, the SE 3 covers essential functions that will satisfy the needs of many users.
