Alphabet, Google’s Parent Company, Surpasses $400 Billion in Annual Revenue

Alphabet, the parent company of Google, has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing $400 billion in annual revenue for the first time. This achievement was announced in the Q4 2025 earnings report released on Wednesday, showcasing a remarkable 15 percent year-over-year increase. The growth was primarily driven by the company’s cloud business and the continued success of YouTube.

Strong Performance in Google’s Cloud Business and YouTube Revenue

According to the earnings report, Google’s Cloud business achieved a $70 billion run rate in 2025, while YouTube’s annual revenue exceeded $60 billion from ads and subscriptions. Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai emphasized that YouTube remains the top streaming platform, supported by data from Nielsen. The company now boasts over 325 million paid subscribers, with Google One and YouTube Premium leading the way.

Growing Usage of Google Search and AI Innovations

Pichai also highlighted the increasing popularity of Google Search, noting that it has seen record usage in recent months. The daily queries in AI Mode have doubled since their launch, indicating a growing reliance on AI-powered features. Google is poised to leverage the success of its Gemini app and AI Mode by introducing an agentic checkout feature in both tools, catering to evolving user needs.
