Google Workspace users can now create videos with AI videomaker integration
Google Expands Access to AI Videomaking Tool
Google has announced that it is now making its AI videomaking tool, Flow, accessible to a wider range of users. Originally launched in May, Flow was initially restricted to Google AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers. However, the tool is now available to users with Business, Enterprise, and Education Workspace plans.
Flow leverages Google’s AI video generation model, Veo 3.1, to produce eight-second video clips based on either text prompts or images. Users have the ability to combine these clips to create longer sequences and can utilize various tools within Flow to adjust lighting, manipulate camera angles, and add or remove objects from scenes. Recently, Google introduced vertical video support to Flow.
Late last year, Google enhanced Flow with audio support, enabling users to generate audio for transitions between scenes, clip extensions, and more. Additionally, Google integrated its AI-powered image generator, Nano Banana Pro, into Flow. This feature allows users to create characters or initial concepts for their video clips.
