Gordon Murray Automotive Unveils GMA Le Mans GTR at Retromobile

Gordon Murray Automotive made a stunning appearance at Retromobile this year by showcasing the exclusive GMA Le Mans GTR at the Joe Macari stand. The track-focused supercar, inspired by legendary race cars like the Matra-Simca MS660, Porsche 917, and Alfa Romeo Tipo 33/3, was a showstopper at the event.

Last year, the announcement of the Le Mans GTR had the automotive world buzzing. With its unique longtail design and extreme aero package featuring elements like a low-slung front splitter, twin-channel rear diffuser, and a centrally supported spoiler, the car exudes performance and style. The inclusion of enhanced ‘Passive Boundary Layer Control’ ensures optimal aerodynamics for reduced drag.

Stepping inside the Le Mans GTR, one is greeted with a new dashboard layout, redesigned switches and dials, improved seat cushioning, and reworked pedals for a more ergonomic driving experience.

Under the hood, the GMA V12 engine powers the Le Mans GTR, capable of revving up to an impressive 12,100 rpm. This powerhouse is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox, delivering a raw and engaging driving experience. The supercar boasts stiffer and lighter suspension, a wider track, larger Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, enhanced cooling capabilities, and optimized weight distribution for superior performance on the track.

Gordon Murray Special Vehicles (GMSV) is set to produce only 24 units of the Le Mans GTR, adding to its exclusivity and desirability among automotive enthusiasts and collectors.
