Intel Unison App to be Discontinued in June 2025

Intel Unison, a popular tool for Android and iOS users seeking to share files and messages, is set to be discontinued. This decision has caught many users off guard, as they rely on the app for seamless PC connection.

While Windows 11 Phone Link offers a similar functionality, it is limited to Android and iOS users due to compatibility issues with Windows. With Intel Unison shutting down, users are left scrambling for alternatives to stay connected.

According to a report by Neowin, Intel Unison will cease operations by June 2025, with the wind-down process already underway. Users are being notified through the Microsoft Store, Google Play Store, and App Store about the impending shutdown.

Intel Unison will soon be discontinued. The first step in its wind-down process is ending service for most platforms at the end of June 2025. Lenovo Aura platforms will retain service through 2025.

Windows Latest reports that a pop-up message is also being displayed within the app itself to inform users about the impending shutdown.

For Windows 11 users with Android devices, Windows Phone Link remains an option, albeit with some missing features compared to Intel Unison. The free Phone Link app is compatible with most Windows 11 specifications, offering a basic solution for staying updated on mobile notifications.

Despite the discontinuation of Intel Unison, Intel has not provided an alternative program or explanation for current users.
