Introducing Dyson’s Sleek PencilWash Wet Floor Cleaner: Coming Soon!

Dyson has unveiled the PencilWash, a slim and agile wet floor cleaner. It will be available starting March 4th in the UK for £299.99 and March 14th in the US for $349, positioning it as an affordable yet premium option in the market.

Similar to Dyson’s PencilVac, the PencilWash boasts a slender design with a 38mm handle and a lightweight construction of 2.2kg. It can clean up to 100m² of flooring before requiring a recharge, thanks to its removable battery that allows for extended cleaning sessions.

Both the PencilWash and PencilVac are powered by Dyson’s compact Hyperdymium motor, enabling their slim profiles. However, the PencilWash stands out for its innovative design and functionality, promising a superior mopping experience compared to traditional vacuums.

Unlike traditional vacuums, the PencilWash doesn’t draw water or debris through the handle. Instead, it utilizes a 300ml clean water reservoir and efficiently collects dirty water and debris with each roller rotation into a separate tank, simplifying the cleaning process.

The PencilWash utilizes a high-density microfibre roller to effectively remove stains and offers two hydration modes for fast drying floors.

When compared to traditional wet vacuums, the PencilWash stands out for its lightweight design and exceptional maneuverability. Its ability to lie almost flat and reach under furniture makes it a convenient choice for smaller living spaces.
