Kendrick Lamar-Inspired Workouts Hit the Field for Super Bowl LIX with Fitness+
Apple recently made headlines with the announcement that Kendrick Lamar would headline the Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime show on February 6th. At the recent Grammy Awards, Kendrick Lamar further solidified his status in the music industry by winning five Grammys, bringing his total to an impressive 22. In light of his continued success and popularity, Apple has introduced a series of Kendrick Lamar-themed workouts for subscribers of its Fitness+ service.
As a long-time user of Fitness+, I have personally experienced the platform’s transformative impact on my fitness journey. Starting with short 5-minute workouts in early 2021, I gradually progressed to incorporating a variety of workout types offered by Fitness+, including walking, running, strength training, and yoga. With a diverse range of workout options and instructors to choose from, I was able to tailor my fitness routine to suit my preferences and goals.
Apple’s latest addition to Fitness+ includes workouts that center around a specific artist, such as Kendrick Lamar. These new workouts feature different durations and instructors, each incorporating songs from Kendrick Lamar’s discography. The lineup includes a 20-minute Pilates session with Darryl, a 20-minute Strength workout with Kim, a 30-minute Yoga class with Jonelle, a 30-minute Cycling session with Kym, and a 30-minute Kickboxing workout with Jamie-ray.
While I personally miss the 30-minute run with Scott featuring The Weeknd, I am eager to try out the strength workout with Kim. To access these themed workouts, one must be an active Fitness+ subscriber. Apple is currently offering a one-month free trial of Fitness+, allowing users to explore the Kendrick Lamar-themed workouts throughout February. Following the trial period, the subscription fee is $9.99 per month. Alternatively, users can opt for the Apple One Premier bundle, which includes Fitness+.
