Marc Marquez Dominates MotoGP BMW M Award with M2 CS Victory in 2025

Renowned MotoGP rider Marc Márquez is set to expand his garage following his latest victory in the MotoGP fastest qualifier competition. This marks his eighth win in the prestigious event, cementing his status as one of the fastest qualifiers in the sport. Over the years, he has amassed an impressive collection of BMW cars, starting with an M6 Coupe in 2013 and adding several more models to his lineup.

In 2025, after a six-year break, Márquez reclaimed the BMW M Award by securing eight pole positions and five front-row starts. With a total of 351 points, he finished the season ahead of his brother Álex Márquez by eight points. As a reward for his exceptional performance, he received the limited-edition M2 CS in M Brooklyn Grey Metallic, priced at €142,300 in Spain.

The M2 CS prize is expected to be a rare addition to Márquez’s collection, as production is capped at fewer than 2,000 units. BMW has been awarding cars to the fastest MotoGP qualifier since 2003, with their involvement dating back to 1999.

We can’t help but wonder if Márquez still owns all the cars he has won over the years or if he has sold some of them. Regarding the M2 CS, he mentioned that he plans to let his brother have a go at driving the high-performance vehicle, as a gesture of appreciation for their shared success on the track.

Reflecting on his victory, Márquez expressed his gratitude for the recognition of his achievements: “For us, it’s always something special when our performances on the track are recognized in this way.”
