Unlocking Mirror Mode: Step-By-Step Guide
If you’re eager to access Mirror Mode in Mario Kart World, follow these essential tasks:
- Complete all Grand Prix races at 150cc difficulty
- Finish all Knockout Tours at 150cc difficulty
- Discover at least 10 Peach Medallions hidden throughout the game
- Uncover at least 10 Hidden Question (?) Panels
- Successfully complete at least 10 P Switch missions
Once you’ve checked off all the tasks above, proceed to complete the Special Cup (Grand Prix) once more.
Upon finishing the Grand Prix, you’ll witness the credits rolling followed by a brief cutscene. Shortly after, a notification will pop up on your screen, indicating that you have successfully unlocked Mirror Mode!
With Mirror Mode now accessible, you can select it as a difficulty option when choosing a Grand Prix, Knockout Tour, or VS Race. Furthermore, Mirror Mode allows you to explore the open-world map in a whole new light, offering a fresh perspective on familiar landscapes.
Exploring Mirror Mode in Free-Roam
To embark on a free-roam adventure in Mirror Mode, head to the Peach Stadium track and make your way to Peach’s Castle. Once there, locate a stained-glass window at the top of the castle that depicts Princess Peach, reminiscent of the iconic Super Mario 64 game.
From your starting point, drive straight ahead and take the leftmost road. Follow the road until you spot a red-tiled roof that you can drive onto. This will lead you to the stained-glass window featuring Princess Peach.
Upon entering the window, the free-roam map will be mirrored, offering a unique and engaging gameplay experience.
