MIO: Memories In Orbit – Patch 1.2 Now Available with Bug Fixes and Enhancements
Developer Douze Dixièmes recently rolled out a significant update for its challenging platforming metroidvania game MIO: Memories In Orbit. Patch 1.2 is primarily focused on fixing bugs and addressing a few balance issues to enhance the overall gameplay experience. According to the development team, the goal of this patch is to make MIO: Memories In Orbit smoother and more enjoyable for players. MIO: Memories In Orbit Patch 1.2: Update Notes
- Resolved a bug where the fourth tremor would activate prematurely (apologies for the inconvenience)
- Fixed an issue where the boss assist feature (“Eroded Bosses”) would not function correctly in certain boss fights and respawn checkpoints
- Corrected the HUD logic for the “Hand’s greed” modifier feedback
- Addressed the invisible trapdoor after the Dr. Halyn encounter
- Fixed the invisible ceiling in
<redacted> - Solved the issue of lootable nacre being accessible through the ceiling in Foundations
- Restored the missing corpse for Calderon post-fight
- Aligned collider/visual elements in the shuttle shafts (especially in the ice section)
- Corrected Capucine’s statue dialogues
- Made minor typo corrections in the in-game texts
- Adjusted attack direction selection logic for d-pad & keyboard to improve accuracy and reduce pogo misses
- Enhanced the “Hand’s greed” modifier to include decayed health (tremor) as an additional source of damage boost
- Fine-tuned hitbox behavior for the FRIENDS encounter
- Adjusted Shii armor visuals during specific animations
- Implemented damage upgrades for scrap pile attacks
- Slightly eased the difficulty of the ending section in Sawlong
- Removed low health feedback during the Khlia sequence
- Eliminated certain health bars in the Pit
- Removed the alternate path in the striders tutorial section
- Adjusted the entrance shortcut of the Chapel to prevent confusion and encourage level completion
- Modified the entrance to metropolis

- Increased the speed of the Sol&Vin elevator after the first fight attempt
- Accelerated the Shuttles’ speed once Dr. Halyn has been encountered for the first time
- Reduced the input lock duration on checkpoints after player death
- Adjusted a few background elements that could be mistaken for walkable platforms in the Haven area
- Enhanced the visuals for the secret passageway in the Vaults disguised as a drawer
