Motorola Unveils Ultra-Sleek Flagship Smartphone in Signature Thin Design

Motorola has introduced a new top-tier phone called the Signature flagship at CES 2026, featuring a slim design without compromising on functionality.

The unveiling of the Motorola Signature smartphone comes as no surprise, following numerous leaks and rumors leading up to CES. This new device takes the place of the previous Edge Ultra line, offering a refined and ultra-thin form factor.

While it may not be as thin as devices like the iPhone Air or Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, the Motorola Signature measures just 6.99mm in thickness and weighs 186g, making it lighter and sleeker than traditional flagship phones while retaining the brand’s signature curved-screen design.

The phone is also equipped with IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings, along with MIL-STD-810H certification, ensuring durability and protection.

One key highlight of the Motorola Signature is that it does not compromise on hardware. It features a substantial 5,200mAh battery, which was considered above average until recently for a phone of this caliber.

The phone also sports a triple 50Mp camera setup, including a 50Mp f/1.6 Sony Lytia 828 main camera, similar to the one found in the Oppo Find X9 Pro.

Complementing the main camera are a 50Mp Sony Lytia 600 3x periscope telephoto camera and a 50Mp ultra-wide camera. For selfies, the phone utilizes a 50Mp Sony Lytia 500 sensor.

On the display front, the Motorola Signature features a striking 6.8-inch 1264 x 2780 AMOLED screen with a rapid 165Hz refresh rate. The display offers a peak brightness of 6200 nits and supports Dolby Vision. It is also Pantone Validated for color accuracy.

Audio is delivered through a pair of stereo speakers with Bose technology, and the phone supports Dolby Atmos for an immersive sound experience.

While it may not match the top performers in terms of performance, the Motorola Signature is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, known for its strong capabilities. It is paired with either 12 or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM.

With Motorola’s commitment to providing up to seven years of Android OS and security updates, as well as 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, the phone offers a competitive flagship experience.

Moreover, the Motorola Signature comes at an attractive price point. It will be released in the UK in February starting at £899.99, with storage options of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.
