Nomad’s Stand One and Stand One Max: Power Up with Lightning-Fast 25W Wireless Charging
Nomad Introduces Upgraded Stand One and Stand One Max Hubs with Qi2.2 Standard Support
Nomad has recently unveiled the latest versions of its Stand One and Stand One Max hubs, now equipped with support for the Qi2.2 standard. This enhancement allows for faster wireless charging rates of up to 25W when used with compatible smartphones such as the Pixel 10 Pro XL and the iPhone 16 and 17 series. These hubs, crafted from a combination of glass and CNC-machined aluminum, boast a sleek and robust design.
Product Details and Pricing
The upgraded Stand One is now available for purchase at $119 on Nomad’s online store, offering color options in silver or carbide. Weighing 575 grams, or slightly over 1.2 pounds, this version includes a significant improvement – a secondary wireless charging pad located on the base, enabling the charging of AirPods and various other wireless headphones at 5W rates.
The original Stand One had a design flaw that hindered this feature. On the other hand, the heavier Stand One Max, weighing 875 grams, retains the ability to charge earbuds from its predecessor. Positioned behind the vertically-oriented Apple Watch charger is a recess where most Qi-compatible wireless earbud cases can be conveniently placed for charging at 5W.
