OpenAI’s ChatGPT: Keeping Answers Unbiased
OpenAI Introduces Ads in ChatGPT: What You Need to Know
OpenAI recently announced that ChatGPT, their popular AI chatbot, will soon start displaying ads to users. However, the company assures that these ads will not impact the accuracy or quality of the responses generated by ChatGPT.
According to OpenAI, the ads will be integrated into the answers provided by ChatGPT, typically appearing at the bottom of the responses. Only users with free or ChatGPT Go accounts will see these ads.

A startup backed by Microsoft argues that the introduction of ads in ChatGPT will help fund their ambitions for Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), ultimately benefiting humanity.
“Our mission is to ensure AGI benefits all of humanity; our pursuit of advertising is always in support of that mission and making AI more accessible,” OpenAI emphasized.
OpenAI assures users that the ChatGPT ads will be clearly labeled and separate from the chat content. Additionally, ads will not be displayed to Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise tier users.
Privacy is a top priority for OpenAI, with the company confirming that user conversations are kept confidential from advertisers, and no data is sold to third parties for advertising purposes.
Users have the option to control how their data is used and can clear any data related to ads at any time. OpenAI also stated that ads will not be shown in conversations involving sensitive topics like health, mental health, or politics.
The introduction of ads in ChatGPT is set to roll out in the upcoming weeks. Users who prefer an ad-free experience can explore upgrading to a paid subscription or consider alternative chatbot options like Claude.
As MCP (Model Context Protocol) becomes the standard for connecting LLMs to tools and data, security teams are moving fast to keep these new services safe.
