Apple releases iOS 26.4 RC for iPhone with upcoming features


The latest iOS update, iOS 26.4 release candidate, has been unveiled with a plethora of new features and enhancements, including fresh emoji additions and AI-driven Apple Music improvements.

The iOS 26.4 update introduces several significant changes, such as:

  • Revamped Apple Music album and playlist views

  • Introduction of AI-powered “Playlist Playground” feature in Apple Music

  • Personal Hotspot data usage reports tailored for each device

  • Eight new emoji characters

  • And much more

Moreover, Apple is currently testing encrypted RCS messaging and an improved video podcast experience. Notably, iOS 26.4 activates Stolen Device Detection by default and advances iOS 26’s CarPlay video support.
