Bentley Unveils Off-Road Focused X Concept at FAT Ice Race

Bentley recently revealed its new X Concept at the FAT Ice Race in Zell am See, showcasing a potential off-road-focused version of the Bentayga SUV. This concept was designed to gather feedback from enthusiasts, with the company expressing willingness to put it into production if there is sufficient market demand.

The Bentley X Concept is based on the Bentayga Speed model and is powered by a robust 650 hp 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. This powerhouse engine delivers power to all four wheels through an eight-speed transmission, promising an exhilarating driving experience both on and off the road.

Emphasizing its off-road capabilities, the concept SUV features air suspension and Bentley Dynamic Ride, a cutting-edge 48V electric active anti-roll control system that enhances stability and control in challenging terrains.

The Bentley X Concept rides on custom forged single-piece 22-inch wheels from Brixton, specially designed for this vehicle. These wheels are paired with off-road tires, while the wheel arches have been widened by 40 mm to accommodate the broader tires, enhancing both performance and aesthetics.

Further enhancements include a revised suspension system with a 120 mm increase in track width and a 5 mm rise in ride height. The X Concept also features a titanium sports exhaust from Akrapovic, towing eyes, and a roof carrier, catering to adventure enthusiasts seeking both performance and practicality in their off-road journeys.

With the X Concept, Bentley continues to push boundaries and explore new possibilities in the luxury SUV segment, showcasing a blend of power, performance, and rugged capability that is sure to capture the attention of discerning consumers.
