Ray Studios, a pioneer in medical tattoo removal based in Paris, has recently announced the successful completion of a fundraising round, raising €10 million. The purpose of this funding is to expand its network across Europe, with the goal of doubling its size within the next two years. This expansion aims to strengthen the company’s clinical leadership and technological advancements.

The fundraising round was co-led by Factory Capital and Nickleby Capital. Nickleby Capital, a key investor in the company’s previous funding rounds, has renewed its trust in Ray Studios. Other existing investors, including Gaingels and various international business angels, also participated in this round.

David Rodriguez, the CEO of Ray Studios, expressed his excitement about the new funding, stating that it will enable the company to accelerate its growth and maintain high standards of safety, effectiveness, and medical excellence in tattoo removal. The continued support from existing investors and the addition of Factory Capital validate the company’s long-term vision.

In a broader trend of investment in medical aesthetics and dermatology sectors in 2025, several other companies have also secured significant funding. Innerskin in France received €12.8 million to expand its aesthetics centers, while Skin Analytics in the UK raised €17.5 million to expand its AI-driven skin-cancer detection platform across Europe. M2care closed a €26 million round to drive HealthTech projects, including dermatology-focused initiatives. These investments, totaling approximately €56 million, reflect growing investor confidence in technology-enhanced skin-health services.

Ray Studios, founded in 2021, combines medical expertise, advanced technology, and a science-driven approach. The company’s proprietary RsAP (Ray Studios Advanced Performance) protocol ensures safe and effective treatments, adhering to rigorous clinical standards and continuous innovation. Ray Studios is the only international network in Europe dedicated to laser tattoo removal performed exclusively by qualified medical doctors using state-of-the-art technology.
