Publisher and developer Bandai Namco recently revealed a character trailer for their upcoming vampiric gothic action RPG sequel, Code Vein II.

The trailer showcases the main character, Lyle McLeish, who is known as “the lone swordsman of the pledge.”

Described as a Revenant with extraordinary skills, Lyle is praised as a master swordsman. He is a key member of The Dawn Chorus, a group dedicated to reclaiming the Corroded Scar. Known for his daring and risky fighting style, he often acts independently, instilling fear even in his allies.

Code Vein II is currently under development for Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox Series X|S, and PS5, with a scheduled release date of January 30th, 2026.
