A Rare Bugatti Bolide to be Auctioned at RM Sotheby’s Paris in 2026

Car enthusiasts and collectors are in for a treat as RM Sotheby’s prepares to auction off a Bugatti Bolide during their upcoming event in Paris next month. This particular Bolide is not just any Bugatti; it is considered the most extreme model ever built by the luxury car manufacturer. With only 40 units in existence, acquiring one has always been a challenge. However, this auction presents a unique opportunity for someone to own this rare gem.

The estimated price range set by RM Sotheby’s for the Bugatti Bolide is between $4.7 million and $7 million, reflecting its exclusivity and desirability among collectors.

This specific Bugatti Bolide being offered at the auction is practically brand new, with only 70 miles on its odometer. It boasts a stunning turquoise carbon exterior with black carbon fiber accents on the lower section. The car features French flag motifs on the turning vanes behind the front wheels and a Blanc central air intake, adding to its visual appeal.

Inside, the Bugatti Bolide is luxuriously trimmed in Beluga Black Alcantara with matching stitching. The racing bucket seats feature the Bolide logo in Gris Rafale embroidered on the headrests. The lucky buyer will also receive two Bugatti flight cases containing a technical manual, car cover, tool bag with gloves, battery conditioner, and a spare set of wheels.

The engineering masterpiece that is the Bugatti Bolide is built on a bespoke carbon fiber chassis designed to meet LMh and LMDh regulations while ensuring compliance with FIA safety standards. Under the hood lies an impressive 8.0-liter W16 engine capable of producing a staggering 1825 horsepower and 1475 lb-ft of torque. With a dry weight of just 1450 kg, the Bolide achieves a remarkable power-to-weight ratio of over 1100 hp per tonne.
