Introducing the 2026 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Facelift: A Closer Look

Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the latest version of its flagship sedan, the S-Class. The facelifted model boasts a redesigned exterior and enhanced features, setting a new standard for luxury vehicles.

At first glance, the new S-Class exudes elegance and sophistication. The front end has been refreshed with new headlights adorned with star-shaped LEDs and a striking grille featuring an illuminated frame and black surround. The rear showcases sleek taillights with three star-shaped LEDs, adding a touch of modernity to the classic design.

Step inside the cabin, and you’ll find a luxurious interior that rivals its competitors in the segment. Premium leather-wrapped seats offer massage functionality, while the rear seats can almost transform into a comfortable bed, ensuring a first-class travel experience.

The highlight of the interior is the ‘Superscreen’, featuring a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch passenger display, and a massive 14.3-inch central touchscreen. Additionally, rear passengers are treated to two 13.1-inch screens for added convenience and entertainment.

Under the hood, the S-Class facelift offers three engine options to cater to different preferences. The S500 features a 3.0-liter 6-cylinder hybrid engine producing 442 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque. The S580e is a plug-in hybrid variant with a 3.0-liter 6-cylinder engine generating 576 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque. Lastly, the S580 houses a 4.0-liter V8 hybrid engine delivering 530 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque.
