Reviving the Legacy: Subaru unveils the Impreza WRX STI Performance-B Concept
Subaru Unveils New Concept Car Performance-B STI at Japan Mobility Show 2025
Subaru has recently showcased its latest concept car, the Performance-B STI, at the Japan Mobility Show 2025. This new model pays homage to the rally-inspired Impreza WRX STI, which was last seen in 2021.
The Performance-B STI concept, based on the second-generation WRX, is a high-performance hatchback that boasts typical STI enhancements. Sporting a sporty body kit that includes a front splitter, extended side skirts, and a diffuser, this model also features a vented bonnet, wide fenders, and a sizeable rear spoiler.
Painted in Subaru’s iconic blue exterior color with striking red accents, the Performance-B STI concept exudes a bold and sporty aesthetic. Some enthusiasts might have hoped for gold wheels instead of the grey ones featured.
While Subaru has kept the details under wraps, speculation suggests that the Performance-B STI concept is equipped with a turbocharged 2.5-liter 4-cylinder boxer engine, delivering impressive performance.
Introducing the Performance-E STI Concept
In addition to the Performance-B STI, Subaru has also introduced the Performance-E STI Concept, a fully electric performance vehicle that expands the brand’s innovative lineup.
