SwitchBot has announced its full product lineup for CES 2026, headlined by the company’s first humanoid household robot and a range of AI-enhanced smart home devices. The smart home manufacturer is positioning these announcements as part of its broader “Smart Home 2.0” strategy, which focuses on combining artificial intelligence with robotics to create more capable home automation systems.

Visitors to CES 2026 will find SwitchBot at booth #52655 in Halls A-D Smart Home at the Venetian Expo, where the company plans to demonstrate its new products alongside its existing ecosystem of smart home devices.

Onero H1: SwitchBot’s First Humanoid Household Robot

The centrepiece of SwitchBot’s CES 2026 presence is the Onero H1, described by the company as its first general-use humanoid robot. Rather than replacing a single appliance or handling one specific task, SwitchBot has designed the Onero H1 with the stated goal of addressing a wide range of household chores that have traditionally been difficult to automate.

The robot features 22 degrees of freedom, which the company says provides the flexibility needed to handle various household tasks. For visual perception, the Onero H1 uses multiple Intel RealSense cameras positioned at the head, arms, hands, and abdomen. This multi-camera approach allows the robot to build a comprehensive understanding of objects it interacts with, including their position, shape, and current state.

At the heart of the Onero H1’s intelligence is what SwitchBot calls the OmniSense VLA (Vision-Language-Action) Model, a self-developed AI system that runs directly on the device. This on-device processing is designed to help the robot learn and adapt to different household scenarios without relying entirely on cloud-based computing. The company claims this approach enables more reliable performance across everyday actions such as grasping objects, pushing, opening doors, and organizing items.

The Onero H1 is designed to integrate with SwitchBot’s existing ecosystem of smart home products, allowing it to work alongside the company’s task-specific devices rather than operating in isolation. SwitchBot has indicated that the Onero H1 and its robotic arms, designated the A1, will be available for pre-order through the company’s website, though specific pricing and availability dates have not been announced.

Lock Vista Series: Biometric Smart Locks with 3D Facial Recognition

SwitchBot is claiming a first with its Lock Vista series, which the company describes as the world’s first deadbolt smart lock to feature 3D structured-light facial recognition technology. The series comprises two models: the standard Lock Vista and the more advanced Lock Vista Pro.

Facial Recognition Technology

The facial recognition system uses over 20,000 infrared dots to create millimetre-level 3D facial maps. SwitchBot claims the system can achieve unlocking within one second and maintains an extremely low false-recognition rate of less than 0.0001%. The technology is designed to prevent spoofing attempts using photographs or video recordings through 3D liveness detection.

The facial recognition continues to function when users are wearing glasses, wigs, or makeup, which addresses a common limitation of simpler facial recognition systems. All biometric data is stored locally on the device rather than in the cloud, which may appeal to users concerned about the security implications of transmitting such sensitive information.

Lock Vista Pro Additions

The Lock Vista Pro model adds contactless palm print recognition as an alternative biometric option. This feature uses near-infrared sensing to read internal vascular patterns beneath the skin’s surface. SwitchBot states that this technology can function even when hands are gloved, slightly dirty, wet, or in low-light conditions. It should be noted that fingerprint recognition is only available on the Lock Vista Pro model; the standard Lock Vista does not include this feature.

Power Management and Battery Life

The Lock Vista series incorporates what SwitchBot calls DualPower and DualBackup systems. The primary power source is a 10,000mAh rechargeable battery that the company claims can run for up to six months on a single charge. A secondary CR123A battery serves as backup power, rated for up to five years of standby time with approximately 500 emergency unlocks.

For emergency situations where both batteries are depleted, a Type-C port on the surface of the keypad allows users to temporarily power the lock from an external source.

To extend battery life, the Lock Vista series uses millimetre wave radar for power management. The lock remains in a low-power state until the radar detects someone approaching, at which point it activates the recognition systems. The SwitchBot app provides battery level monitoring and pushes notifications when power is running low, while the device itself can play audio alerts.

Connectivity and Compatibility

The Lock Vista series supports Matter-over-WiFi connectivity, which means users do not need a separate Matter-enabled hub to integrate the lock with compatible smart home platforms.
