Rumors surrounding Samsung’s upcoming budget phone, the Galaxy A07 5G, have been circulating online for some time now. With the device making an appearance on the Geekbench 6 CPU benchmark test, we now have a clearer picture of what to anticipate.

The benchmark results indicate a modest performance level, with a single-core score of 729 and a multi-core score of 1878. These scores are similar to those of its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy A06 5G, suggesting that the Galaxy A07 5G may be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip.

Additionally, the listing confirms that the Galaxy A07 5G will come equipped with 4GB of RAM, which is relatively low for an Android device.

Samsung’s upcoming budget phone upgrade, the Galaxy A07 5G, is unlikely to be a top-performing device.

Although Samsung did not directly sell its predecessor, the Galaxy A06 5G, on its website, the phone was available through third-party retailers at a price point below £100.

Leaked images of the Galaxy A07 5G from August revealed some preliminary specifications, including a 6.7-inch LCD display with a 1600 x 720 resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.

The device is expected to feature a 50MP main camera along with a 2MP secondary camera, likely a depth sensor. It is also rumored to come with a 5000mAh battery and 15W wired charging support.

Furthermore, the Galaxy A07 5G is anticipated to have IP54 certification and offer six years of OS and security updates, features uncommon in a sub-£100 smartphone.
