When can we expect the Samsung Galaxy A37 to be launched?
In summary
- Expected to be released in 2026.
- All indications point towards a March release.
- The phone will be available in the US market.
As of now (December), Samsung has not officially announced the Galaxy A37, which aligns with expectations for a 2026 launch for this mid-range device.
For the past three iterations of phones in the A30 series, they have all been launched in March shortly after being unveiled in the same month, indicating a high likelihood of the Galaxy A37 being launched in March 2026.
This schedule fits well within Samsung’s overall release strategy, providing a gap after the flagship Galaxy S range is refreshed in January.
While there were rumors of a potential delay for the Galaxy S26 range until March 2026, these have subsided, suggesting that the A37 will follow Samsung’s usual timeline.
It is confirmed that the phone will also be released in the US, a departure from previous Galaxy A range models.

What will be the price of the Samsung Galaxy A37?
In summary
- A price increase is unlikely but cannot be ruled out.
- The price is expected to start at £399/$399.
Amid the ongoing cost-of-living crisis affecting global markets, it is challenging to predict with certainty whether the price of the Galaxy A37 will remain the same as its predecessor.
If the price does remain unchanged, the Galaxy A37 is likely to have a starting price of £399/$399, positioning it as a more affordable option compared to top mid-range smartphones like the Google Pixel 9a and upcoming Pixel 10a, as well as Xiaomi devices.
However, Samsung’s A30 range phones have seen fluctuating prices in the past, making it unpredictable from year to year. Notably, the Galaxy A36 experienced a significant price increase from £339 to £399, indicating that another substantial jump is unlikely in the near future.

Furthermore, at £399, the Galaxy A36 is already positioned at the edge of affordability within the mid-range segment. If the A37 surpasses this price point, consumers may consider other options with a £499 price tag, such as the Pixel 9a, especially considering occasional sales events where pricier phones like the Galaxy S25 FE drop to £499.
To provide a historical perspective on the pricing of the Galaxy A30 series, here are the previous prices:
- Samsung Galaxy A36 – £399/$399.99
- Samsung Galaxy A35 – £339/$399.99
- Samsung Galaxy A34 – £349
- Samsung Galaxy A33 – £329
- Samsung Galaxy A32 – £249/$279.99
What specifications and features can we expect from the Samsung Galaxy A37?
In summary
- The A37 is anticipated to be powered by the faster Exynos 1480 chipset.
- It will feature the same chipset as the Samsung Galaxy A55.
- Hopes are high for an enhanced design.
A more powerful mid-range processor
While many Samsung phones typically have their entire feature set leaked before launch, there is limited information available about the Galaxy A37 at this time. The primary detail we have revolves around the phone’s chipset.
Following its appearance on Geekbench, it appears that the Galaxy A37 will be equipped with the Exynos 1480 CPU, the same chipset previously used in the Samsung Galaxy A55.
Based on our experience with the A55, this upgrade is expected to deliver improved performance compared to the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 present in its predecessor. Addressing the performance issues of the A36, this enhancement should allow the A37 to stand out in its category.

What we hope for: a more robust build
While additional upgrades for the Galaxy A37 remain unknown, one crucial aspect that requires attention is its build quality. With an all-plastic construction, the A36 lacks the robustness of the Galaxy A56, which boasts a metal frame and a more premium feel compared to other mid-range smartphones in the same price range.
Given that competitors like the Honor 400 and OnePlus Nord 5 have surpassed Samsung in camera capabilities and charging speeds, Samsung needs to differentiate itself by offering a sturdier build and potentially more attractive color options. If the Galaxy A17 5G and Galaxy Tab A11 are any indication, Samsung may opt to maintain a similar design to the A36.
These are the current details available on the Samsung Galaxy A37. Stay tuned to this page for the latest rumors and updates as they emerge.
